Found some nice bits on Ebay earlier, Would cost about £50 but they could look pretty smart. The Rallye should have black door handles as standard so I've always considered some carbon ones if I could find any. Now I have - click (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Saxo-106-MK1-2-exterior-door-handel-covers-carbon_W0QQitemZ330125669376QQihZ014QQcategoryZ103 76QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
Also I want GTi style pillar strips, also in carbon :D - click again (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Saxo-MK1-MK2-PUG-106-CARBON-DOOR-PILLAR-COVERS_W0QQitemZ330128287501QQihZ014QQcategoryZ103 76QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
So once I've got the bodywork sorted I think I'll get me some!

Oh my god - more interestingly than that they make the engine covers and bits and seem to have the old pro-comp moulds
Which means they might have S2 bonnet and boot moulds from bics car :D

Haven't seen them on there yet although they did have a Saxo carbon "bad boy" bonnet not long ago.

My only bad thought is that as they are stick on bits they might look a little bit chavvy? A bit like all the stick on chrome s**t you can buy in Halfrauds :p
I wonder if they do carbon wing mirror caps? ;)
rallyes should have whit handles and mirror caps. if the bump strips were coded why werent those?
i want some carbon bits tho. but i cant be arse paying that kinda cash on stuff like that. which blows

I NEED a carbon coilpack cover!! :D
Pics and prices as promised guys. Plenty more products on there way. These products will be available to view on my car on the Performance French Car Magazine stand at The French Car Show at Rockingham, 15th July. At present the prices are the prices, wherever sold with no special group buy discounts or club discounts are currently agreed or in place, perhaps something for the future, but I am firm in the belief that the majority of people who will have an interest in these types of products will be the enthusiast anyway and my personal preference is that all people involved with the whole car scene should be able to have access to the products all at the same prices, showing no preference from one customer to the next, equally, the prices are what they are, not starting at £159.99 and coming down by a certain amount to give people the illusion of getting a deal. Trust me for the material, workmanship and time gone into these products and with more to come, the price is very good value for money and as stated before, allows for a strong enough margin to hopefully be able to re invest monies back into the mould processes once these products have broken even. I hope this to be something involving carbon fibre products that few other companies seem to have been able to achieve, not saying they have not done good, but plenty have certainly come and gone, leaving enthusiasts with no service provider in an area that seems rife with false promises. I hope these first products are the kind of thing people are wanting for their cars and my thanks in advance to the valued custom I hope these products promote. They are also available via Streamline Carbon Ltd Ebay shop to allow for debit/credit card and paypal payments for those not wishing to pay via cheque/postal order.
Postage prices will vary depending on how you wish the product to be sent, ie standard or secured or insured etc etc, all down to personal preference. I am also happy to meet people during evenings or weekends to collect products in person to avoid disappointment in any damage caused through the post or to be sure they want the product and can see the quality before they buy. I am based in Northampton.

Quality of that looks absolutely awesome mate
I'll come and have a nosey at FCS but soon as I get £80 together I'll have a set of wing mirror covers
Will the 8v rocker covers be based on the silver top engine like mine? If so i'll be having one of those too
OK sound
Not too sure on which 8 valve cover will be produced yet, which was the more preferred one ? And also I need to see what kind of interest from the 8 valve guys too.

I've posted on sax-perience about the silver top mate - much more popular with saxos - but the black top was used on all rallyes
If we get loads of interest - might be able to do both

very very nice, you should do replacement caps as well i mean like the water bottle cap, oil cap, radiator cap, break fluid cap etc any cap you can get really. don't think i'd be intrested in a 8v cover as i don't plan on going that far with my 8v i'll trade it up next year once i have 3 years ncb i'm getting a gti unless Rx8 are in my price range by then
I am unsure on the inricacy of doing caps etc, although we are going to consider the universal breather tanks like mocal produce.
Any others have an interest in 8 valve covers ?

How much roughly would they be? If I painted it would the weave still be visible?
I'd like something small and a bit cheaper, like maybe interior door handle surrounds? Just to tart it up a bit :p
I do like those mirror covers though - best get saving for those! :D
Some pics of the coilpack fitted, excuse the wonky badge, just in place for purpose of the pics

Those bits look sexual
Id be intrested in an 8v cover, depending on price!
That cover looks immense!
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn they look immense will be having a nosey at fcs too would be interested in the mirror caps and a coilpack cover
have you looked into doing the centre console or any other interior parts or even a gti rear spoiler or would these be too complex???

in the morning i can not off in the garage again now. word of advise though, use some tigerseal or araldite (prob spelt wrong) and sand the inside and handles a bit helps them grip. don't use body trim tape, tried it and one had fell off by time i got round to put the other on. so i used arldite and masked it up and left it over night. hopefully the doors are more likely to fall off now
Rallye James
05-07-2007, 11:17 PM
Yeah, I'd use tigerseal - excellent stuff :D Not sure whether to get the handles, might just get the mirror caps
Other moulds on the go real soon yes, centre console is possible, plenty of people seem to be asking.
I will try and get an 8valve panel to Mervyn, what is the preferred version ?
cheers
Bic
gti spoiler would look great in the lovely black weave.tho i'd most likely need a mortgage to get one. door handle surrounds (interior) sounds good as its a neat little touch that people shouldnt have a makor prob affording.
by 8v cover are you meaning rocker cover? a carbon one in phase 2 style would look great. basically do anything spec r do but in carbon rather than tin foil
carbon rubstrips for the front and rear bumpers would look cool and a carbon pug badge for the bonnet and the rear boot lock if these were possible i'd definately be interested in them as its something different to completely smoothing the boot and bonnet

them door handles look the nuts !!!
Yes a gti spoiler is another on the wishlist of many including myself for introducin into the range. A very straightforward shape though, and I may get one done when doing the new bootlid for my car, although I have gone the other way with no spoiler, would only ever put one back on that was carbon now, lol.
Not sure on the likes of badges, locks etc, very very intricate parts, and not just from mould making purposes and pattern making, but the actual process of making them when laying the weave into the mould. For example, the 106/Saxo vts coilpack covers took double the time that the 206?c2 vts coilpack covers did.
I did sell my original gti spoiler a few years back, are there any available that people know of second hand ? or that has one they would sell/donate etc ? I will confirm a price from Peugeot anyway as my preference for supplying any OE parts is to use brand new parts as oppose to used, but always room for movement on that.
Ste - Yes bumper inserts, front and rear would look great, again would need to be doned like the mirror covers, these again are a straight forward panel, so could be very successful, will also get some of those from Peugeot and down to the mould making room !##Keep any requests/ideas on the boil, it all helps and it works for creating the right products for the people that are hopefully serious about buying them if in production.
cheers
Bic
few pics during fitting of mirror caps, will post some more with tape removed shortly, once adhesive has cured fully.

think gti spoilers are jus short of a ton from pug, but to be honest go for around 70 quid used anyway.
i'd prob be up for a carbon spoiler but there is no way in hell mines coming off my boot, so its fibreglass time lol
good luck bic mate, hope people actually buy this stuff

Gti spoilers would be awesome, im also very interested in an 8v cover, depending on the price of course.
How about rallye vents? Theyre notoriously hard to get hold of and ive got a good suspiscion that they would look unbelievable if you got them done in carbon. Is that a silly idea? i tend to come up with riduculous and quite frankly shit ideas :P
Carbon rallye vents, put me down.
An 8v rocker cover for a vtr engine too.
Think I shall be purcashin some wing mirror covers are mine are trashed.

yey! :D someone likes my vent idea :P
Surely they cant be too hard to make a mould for bic ?
Aidy - So do I plenty of people always show interest, buying is another matter sometimes, lol.
think sometimes its cos people dont realise how much stuff costs, if you could say a carbon spoiler will cost say 100 quid for instance before their put into production then people would buy them, but if people think their gonna be 50 quid then they cost 100 they'll think soid that its too expensive. if that makes sense.
off topic bic but can i have a proper nose round your fuel line set up on sunday?
