No we're not talking about a new TV programme on LivingTV, we are talking about depression Monika which is currently located to the northwest of the UK...

Weather fronts associated with Monika are currently bringing showers and longer spells of rain to many western and northern parts of the country. What we are keeping an eye on is the development of a frontal wave to the southwest of the UK as we speak.

Wednesday is set to bring some highly unseasonal weather as this secondary low pressure and weather fronts push up and across the country during the day. At the moment Wales and parts of Northwest England are going to see the brunt of the deluge with some very large rainfall totals expected, but a large portion of the UK will see some wet and windy weather tomorrow.

So despite us being 4 days away from the Longest Day (21st) the good old British weather isn't playing ball and is likely to resemble something from late September tomorrow...

Oval races generally don't run in the rain, but BTCC @ Rockingham did.

I think it would be best to check with the organisers or the circuit themselves.

and the only cars are track that didnt spin off were the french ones ;) haha

a wet track aint any harder than a wet road

infact its easier cos once ya have done a few laps you know pretty much how the car is gonna react in each corner


i did cadwell in the rain and thats just about the worse track to do in the rain so anything is gonna seem pretty easy tbh lol


donington was fun in the wet too cos it raises up all the air fuel that drops on it so a few of the corners were like driving on ice lol


i would like to do one session in the dry though tbh just to get the real thrill of speed
