I think the scrapyard is gonna be your best bet. Not unless another members got one somewhere, but it'll prob only be about £5 from a scrappy.

induction pipe?

I'm not sure, if he's got the 1.1 it's got a funny box thing that sits ontop of the throttle body and the air filter box to connect the two. I think thats what he means anyway?...

Maybe print it out or copy the link and put on wanted section.

Jayjay2580

The bit in the picture? Yeah, because of the pipe on the filter.
I haven't got a pic of mine, but i'll try and take some 2morrow, as it's in the garage at the mo.
Are you buying a new one or second hand one?
All i did with mine is take the airbox off and push the pipe from the PX over the plastic lip on that bit in the pic, then put a dubilee clip on it to hold it on.
Mine was originally for an Alfa 156, so i didn't get all fittings that you would with a new one.

Or there is this one...
Looks as if it would slip straight on top of the TB

That one's for a Gti or Saxo Vts.. You might get it to fit, although it could be awkward because of the pipe.
You might get it in there, but i think it would be easier if you took the pipe off because it might be awkward to wedge that in inbetween all the rad hoses etc.?
If you can get it cheap it's worth it though.
Def give it a good clean before you put it on though...
You have to soak it in a bucket of water and fairy liquid, then let it dry. They sell some special oil that you have to put on it afterwards to make it waterproof(ish).
Might be worth askin if they've got the oil spray for it.

Yeah i think thats where it goes, but it'd get squashed by the bonnet. It'd be too tall.
Out of the two i'd go for the first.

Once you get both bits you'll be able to see better. You'll be able to see if you can use it with or without the pipe.
Did you see the one i put a link to a min ago? Thats the type i've got on mine, only problem with mine is i need to get a cold air feed to it because it's right at the back and is just taking warm air.
You should be able to fit it in there ok, it'll be good if you can because it'll get some decent fresh cold air.

Yeah, once you get that you can figure out what you wanna do.
Although if you get that one with the pipe and it doesn't fit you could take it to a meet, someones bound to want one.
It's upto you mate, but if you get stuck when you get it give me a shout and i'll try and help you out.

Stick a thread in the wanted section on here and see what you get. Someone might be nearby with one maybe?
If not def try a local scrappy, they're bound to have one. Even better if it's one of those scrappys you can walk round coz you can find it yourself without trying to explain what it is!
Non 106 owners wouldn't have a clue!
