Trying to install some new seats today but can't get the old ones out. My car is a Mk 1 5 door.

Theres only 4 torx screws to undo but they are ridiculously stiff, can't get them out at all. I tried WD40 but didn't get anywhere. Am I missing something obvious?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I've managed to undo them now with a ratchet, but the back of the rallye seat I installed wobbles a bit. Its a 3 door seat, do I have to do something special to stop the woble?

I don't think so about the wobble! My seats wobble, you just get used to it ;)

My seats did wobble. I put a washer in with the torx bolt screw thing to pad it out. It's perfect now.
If you can't do that jam something underneath the rail that goes to the floor. Just stop the rail/seats ability to lift up and down.

I think I know why it wobbles.

When you pull the lever to the side up, it should adjust the recline, and down to pull it forward to allow entry to the back. Well the recline doesn't work. The back catches on to nut type things, although one isn't catching, therefore it wobbles at one side. The drivers seat works fine.

Not sure how I can fix it really.

Theres a picture of it, you can see where its not locking.

Wooo got it to lock!

Doesn't recline still but I don't care, its the passenger seat so I won't be sitting there.

Thanks for your input guys.
