would be good to know how high it is idling , emissions test are your friend there free and the sheet should show you your idle
when you say tb i pressume your mean you removed the housing for the intake butterfly and cleaned the little sensor behind it ?

Hi
First as non english I would like to apologies for the poor spelling and grammar.
I have jsut got back from the Peugeot dealer and the Idle Stepper motor is faulty.
I would like to know a couple of thing and I hope one of you could help me.
What does it look like? What is its function (ok I kind of guess what is it). How easy it is to change it.
I probably could source it for a very decent price in france. And as to change it, it will depend on how easy it is.
I do standard servicing myself, oil, filters, pads, disks, I changed the running and alternator belt myself. I had to change the upper cooling pipe as well.
So if it's not more difficult I could do it mysef. I can't really afford to pay 250£ to get that changed.
Thanks.
