quicky cambelts

alright iv done all the timing set up fine but 1 thing im confused on the timing belt there are 2 white lines on it what do they indicate? can anyone help me?

Maybe someone has marked it because the belt has been done before?

can anyone give me information of on setting my timing up to change the cambelt?

the white line mark the deadpoint of the engine, should be some sort of marking on the cam and on the crank, hard to explain but look close and you will find them, just changed on my gti and there was a "nudge" in the cams and mark on the crank behind the wheel there.
