Hi Guys
Can anyone help Does anyone konw how to disable or bypass a transponder (in the key) immobiliser ?????
I ordered a new key from peugeot the parts bloke said it would be "PRE TUNED" and DID'NT need coded in .... it arrived yesterday put my blade in infared works to open doors but wont start car (just turning over) put blade back in origional key now that wont start the car either (just turning over) This happened at the peugeot dealers forcourt so car is stuck there now !!
Its a 1997 (R) 106 1.5 diesel - they said it might need a new immobiliser unit which is obviously more than the things worth any help much appreciated

i get this problem if i disconnect my battery. there is supposedly a disable key switch under bonnet. if not open door turn on ign and press button by ign barrel. within ten seconds though....3-2-1 go!

I'm having a similar problem! whats this button near the ignition? there's something on the facia to the right that looks a bit like a light/button but it's never actually done anything int he past? got told the immobiliser/alarm wasn't working when I bought the car but the battery went flat and it seems to have immobilised itself?
