Thanks Elin :-* Raz 22-01-2007, 12:39 PM Two holes at the front of it! one on each side. poke something long and thin down them both like a thin screw driver and pull. Raz Raz 22-01-2007, 12:41 PM just rememberd mine was a tape player. would of thought it would be the same. Check if theres any holes in the front Raz elinchick 22-01-2007, 12:43 PM Thanks Raz! ;D Yeah Im sure there are holes at the side of mine JamesL 22-01-2007, 04:56 PM I used 2 thin saw blades :) Or you could buy the propper pins to remove it. Jimbo 22-01-2007, 04:57 PM 2 flat bladed screwdrivers did it for me ;) Dargs 22-01-2007, 07:13 PM or the u shaped radio keys ;) elinchick 27-01-2007, 12:11 PM Right Ive just looked and there are two round small holes at both sides of the cd player. Can find anythin to stick in there ??? Tim 27-01-2007, 12:43 PM i took mine to pug as its on my road, its not a "U" shaped hook, there are two holes. one each side, need a long thing tool to slide into those and pull Luke 27-01-2007, 01:12 PM I changed my girlfriends the other day, I used a wire hanger and shaped it into a U shape. Worked a treat. pugginquik 27-01-2007, 03:56 PM really much easier with the proper keys, as you need to pull them either up down or side to side to release the catch, not much from motorshop or halfrauds :) Dargs 27-01-2007, 05:43 PM i took mine to pug as its on my road, its not a "U" shaped hook, there are two holes. one each side, need a long thing tool to slide into those and pull no.. its a u shaped tool :) elinchick 27-01-2007, 09:17 PM Thanks guys! Tried everything- hangers, screwdrivers the lot! Went down to moronworld in the end to get the right U shaped hooks ;) for the jobs (were £1.99). I gave it a yank, the bloke at moronworld gave it a yank, my dad and bf were yankin it one at each end and the fooker wouldnt budge. Came out eventually! :D pugginquik 27-01-2007, 11:00 PM yeh there is a bit of a knack to it as u need to catch the release things just right. also mine is not a u shaped tool either :-\ just a single rod with a hoop for your finger at the end, ive only got 1 hole either side :-\ Jimbo 27-01-2007, 11:02 PM glad u managed to finally get it out :) did the new one go in awrite? Luke 28-01-2007, 06:25 PM Get some pics up of the new one fitted! Really like your headunit. Freedo 28-01-2007, 06:54 PM anyone wanna sell there old one to me? ;D |
