Same as any other. Breathing mods, filter, decat, mani etc.
Or a cam, and the bigger stuff like that. :D
600 = gti engine = more bhp
600 = gti engine = more bhp
lol without having to upgrade to a 1.6 16valve:) i wish!
Just search its been covered so many times before.

mate for 600 quid you can have a vtr conversion done by ricky p.
98bhp.
youll struggle to get much more than that from a quicky.
tbh i know i shouldnt say this, but its almost a waste spending sooo much on a quicky engine.
yeah the 1 i had that i bought of fuzzy was quick, but hed done well to get the parts so cheap etc and i spent loads getting it all sorted with the new exhaust and manifold.
OR find an s2 rallye lump.
get ricky p to fit it.
i believe someone on here has one.
ialso it looke the exact same as its an 8v.
no getting caught.
edit: think palmer has an s2 rallye engine

haha id love to get a better engine but its pretty fun modding up a quiky. well im the same as you and id recommend the obvious induction kit and exhaust, decat mani etc. if you get that cheap then you might have enough for a fast road cam. With all those you'd be with standard VTR's easy. my cam is on its way :)

it would fit depending on the age of his car. would need to have a blacktop rocker cover for your cam to fit.
the tuning of all car basics have been covered to may times

vtr block, repair skim the quicky head and fit a fast road cam 270 profile i think, and then breathing mods!

easiest thing to do if you want it to go quicker, strip it out
costs nothing and helps handling too.
chuck some common mods on (mani, exhaust, air filter) and it'd be even better
