Wondered if anyone could shed some light on this :) I was planning on getting a Raceland mani next, but on closer inspection of my existing manifold, instead of the centre pipe stopping where the 4-2-1 starts, it seems to go all the way up to almost the top of the manifold by the cylinder head

Like so: http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g293/xlindsellxx/Image002-1.jpg

Does this mean that if i was to put a raceland mani on i would also need a new centre section? Thanks

That's the downpipe, rather than the centre section. The flexible joint below the bulkhead is where you detach it.

;)

thats what i'm thinking, but if the car is fitted without a cat as standard, would that mean there is no emmisions test on the MOT?
