standard alarm problems

alarm keeps going off
how do i disable or turn sensitivity down
neighbours are not amused so needs to be sorted asap
any info appreciated

Hi, i got the same problem, i got told to shut all the air vents- no change. So i getting it checked at garage for free so will let u know wot problem is if that helps?

key under the bonnet aint there (on the passenger side of the slam pannel)

thats if you got the key that fits it

never seen anywhere for a key on the slam pannel m8
ive stripped and rebuilt a couple of 106's and never seen it

The garage checked all the door,bonnet and internal sensors. All were working fine. I disabled the internal alarm by using the 106 user handbook. My alarm hasn't gone off since.

Press button near ignition. It should look like this -> o)))

Press and hold until the red light comes and stays on.

then exit car and use key fob to activate alarm. hope this helps?

mines the same as this, and it still goes off... so now i have to lock it with the key!

mines the same goes off all the time so i lock it with the key now...havent seen that button before tho???

alex is right, press the button to switch off the internal sensors, the car is still alarmed if its moved or a window is smashed/door opens (According to the Service Manager at my Dealership), this is a VERY common problem with the UltraSonics Alarm in most peugeots... the button is on the right hand side of the steering column in between the stalk and the ignition barrel.
