MSD Ignition Coils

Any one fitted these? Having a nose round DP's site and saw their kit, not cheap but wondered if they would be better performace over the stock coil pack, which doesn't seem to last too long and with boost the last thing needed it miss fires....

I've not used em mate - but do agree the peugeot coil packs are made of cheese

Or at least the coil packs that sit on top of the spark plugs are

The seperate coil packs on S1's were bullet proof
If DP are recommending and selling them - I'd be fairly sure they're good quality

OUCH thats a lot of cash for a coil pack

Could you not run a gti on the old xsi style coil packs that are much more reliable?

You'd have to use ht leads and rewire the coil pack plug - but it might be doable
