cant believe this. :(

just before i start i want to say admin remove/edit this if its a bit harsh or classed as slander but i do think our lot (106owners) should know.

as some of you may well know 106parts and yb racing are basicaly the same company. often found on ebay but also have internet shops specialising in omp and peugeot parts.

just over a year ago i bought a pugsport exhaust from 106parts net shop. i paid instantly via paypal. then 1 week later when the exhaust wasnt here i sent an email to the company asking when should i expect delivery. my exhaust had snaped at the time and desperatly needed a replacement. i had a reply soon enough informing my that the exhaust i had bought wasnt in stock and that id have to wait another 2 weeks for it to get to them. then post to me. exhaust arrived in the end bla bla bla. let this one slip i thought.

since then ive bought wheel bearings & omp brakes for the pug. all been spot on.

whats just happend recently has done stews (my partner) head in. hes bought a set of omp discs & pads for his scoob. 5 days after buying them off ebay and paying instantly via paypa he gets an email. sorry stew parts not in stock will be in on our next delivery in 2 weeks! now the 2 weeks are up. the brakes came today. discs are ok but the box for the pads are damaged, taped back up and 2 pads missing.

stews sent yb racing an email informing them about how frustrated we are and that we want our pads.

basicaly the message i want members on here to get is BEWARE & DONT USE THEM. WE NEVER WILL AGAIN.

if you do and you get done like we have then dont say i didnt tell you so

I'll leave this on the forum for now but moving to Rants

I have to say this comes up a fair bit on rallye register, they are a good company selling good parts. BUT they fail to mention they dont stock much - and all the omp bits come directly from italy. Which is why I had to wait 3 weeks for my strut brace..

I agree they should tell people up front if an item is going to be on back order at the OMP factory, but that doesnt necessarily mean avoid them all together. Just dont use them if you're in a rush :)
