Hi all. I am looking to expand 106owners.co.uk to Northern Ireland. After having seen the success of meetings and events in England, I am looking to bring this success over to Northern Ireland. So if anyone who lives in Northern Ireland PM me and I'll add you as a friend, so I can organise some meetings over the summer.

I was thinking of going to Newcastle for the day hopefully! Give me your thoughts and views about this.

Hi Jonny

To be honest if your going to have a meet for the first time it would be fairly wise to make it central for most people. No doubt down on the coast would be a great setting but for me it would be just that little bit too far to be honest :(

Something more central would be a good idea - wait and see where the majority of the members are from and then decide what location.

I would be up for a meet but wont be ready to go to one until probably late July or Early August depending on when my 106 is ready :)

Hey, I wouldnt mind a meet if i could get my bloody license... My parents are still holding me up on getting it, so I couldnt do one soon, but I'd be interested!

I still can't get insured until they get their UK license, and neither parent has even booked their test. The waiting list is like a month, so assuming they both book and get the test within a month, that means i'll be waiting a few weeks on top of that until i can get insured and such...

The whole thing is just annoying really. On a more positive note, the car is going for MOT today, and after allll the work thats been done in the past few months, with the engine rebuild and all, i'm hoping its gonna pass no bother. So at least my car will be getting used.
