Some of you might of noticed me around, recently joined up. Loving it so far. :) Great resource.

My car will stay quite standard as there isn't a great deal worth doing to it. However everybody thinks it's a nice car, the paint is a great colour and condition), it's great fun to drive (love it off the mark) and I've only just started driving. I'll quickly brag - 7 lessons, 1 driving test and 4 minors, I got my license. Get in!

So only a few bits currently changed on my car. The wheel trims (apparently imported from Germany, havn't seen any like it?) I brought some Philips Power2Night GT150 bulbs with matched sidelights, the standard ones looked arse and were useless at night! A sportex 3" single exit backbox. I love this. It's subtle, looks good and sounds lovely for just a backbox, and it isn't too loud and has a nice note.
Oh and got busy with some floss and rubbing alcohol. Boot looks a bit better for it.

I am in the process of buying up the following audio:
JBL GTO 75.4 amp, Rainbow SLX230 Deluxe components up front, JBL GTO 1202D sub and box, wiring kit and dynamat.
I got a JVC KD-LH811 on the way (yay.)

I also will be buying some gti/quiksilver dials from eBay to fit, as my dials are crap (thanks tuscan for that guide.)

I would like to source some Rallye S2 seats (front & rear) - these would look real nice I think. I would like to lower my car 35mm front and ~50mm rear, remove the zest badges (already tried but they are /in/ the paintwork..) and fit standard fogs that the zest 2 came without.
That would do me :D

That's the car now (without backbox actually).

That's it lowered (roughly to scale) and with the zest removed, and smoked side repeater.

So that's it. This probably won't change until a month and a bit, when I own all of the audio mentioned and begin to fit it.

Thanks for anybody who comments and takes time to read.

EDIT: Oh. The other day timed my 0-60 accuratly. It was a fraction over 11.5 seconds. Is this too good to be true or about right? Seems rapid. Oh, I don't drive it hard all the time either, it'll probably just break. :)

Me and my brother cleaned our 106's today as the weather was sweet. So I got a few pictures of mine.

Pretty standard looking, brother cleaning his Quiksilver.

I asked my brother to take it for a quick drive so I could hear how it sounded outside of the car.

Got my JVC KD-LH811 in, ordering sound bits soon, then on the lookout for some S2 rallye seats.

Just looked up your car on parkers.

At new in test conditions its 0-60 was reported as 14.4 seconds.

Yeah I knew it was around that, the quoted time, goodness knows how they get them so slow.
My brother did his Quiksilver and got ~9.7 with me in the car too.
