Hello. I want to bay 106 16S.
But i think that 118hps it's not enough.
I would like about 130-150hps same like Renault 19 16v or VW Golf GTI.
How can i up power to this characteristics and really do that for 1000 usd?

right mate i have no idea of your currancy, and doubt your english so il try explain best i can and if your refering to 106 16s (the gti or s16)(120bhp 1.6 16v)

but 130+ bhp is easily got by enclosed air filter like bmc or raceland and 4 branch manifold with decat pipe should see you over 135bhp
a full exhaust system will help bit more but doubtful to push you over 140bhp

140+bhp you would be looking at cams and remap

none of mods i said would need any ecu upgrades,

you would want the ecu remapping if you replace cams with higher profile ones.

1/4 molie of standard s16(gti) would be around 15.5s i think all depends on launch you can achive.

i think the lambard is before cat on gti's but think i could depend on year of car thou

after 2000 there is 2 lambda's one before and one after the cat;)

If you have two, you will need a sleeve to cover up the second to prevent the ECU from working out you have a Decat :)

Only replacement ECU it is possible to up power?

if you mean by remapping your ecu for more power??

yes its possibly but not worth the hassel with out other engine mods like camshafts and breathing modifications (air filter and exhaust)

wtf? lol

and you need to put a sleve over the second lambda sensor or it brings up the EML on the dash.
