Hi everyone - I realise this is asked about a lot of the time but i've done a search and can't seem to find the exact answers i'm looking for lol so..

I have a quiky and its a 2000 model with the cat in the manifold, so i was just wondering.. if I buy the pugsport will this still fit? and will it still decat the car and have the same performance gains and sound that the pugsorts are known so well for?
Also I think I need to get a lambda sleeve from GMC to blank off a lambda sensor - is this right? Thanks a lot, Richard.

Right

It will fit
It wont decat the car - as the cat is in the manifold rather than the downpipe

To decat the car you'd have to buy a manifold - such as a raceland 4-2-1

You wont need a GMC sleeve at the moment as both lambdas will still plug into your standard manifold - but if you get a raceland or other performance manifold then yes you need to put one of the lambdas in a sleeve :)

Yeah go for it, especially if you plan on changing the manifold at a later date.

3" looks much better on the S2 106's

You'll probably find it makes quite a nice noise even with the standard cat on
But yeah - get a manifold at a later date and they sound nuts :)

What if your not going to buy a new manifold
But you want to put on a 2" Pugsport, do you just buy the Exhuast and back box or do you need to buy the de-cat system thing aswell?

Or do you only need to get the de-cat system for the sound?
Basically can i still have the exhuast with the same cat on? =D

Yeah 3" looks better imo as well.
Thanks a lot for the help guys, once i get the pugsport il start saving for a manifold, probably a raceland.
Driving tests on 2nd of june as well so Il hopefully pass that and Il come down to any meets whenever I can :)

If he buys the decat system it wont make a difference as he's got the cat at the front shortstuff. When he gets a new manifold he will be decat and the pugsport will sound the tits

No, with ya standard manifold, cause there's a cat in it, its not a decat. ;)

Nah, you can put the full exhaust on with the standard manifold, but the cat would still be there, so it wouldnt be a decat.
To make it a decat, youd need to change the manifold, to get rid of the cat. :)

Does it matter if its a Cat or a De cat :rolleyes:

With a cat, it'll restrict power, but pass the emissions test in the MOT, or if you're unlucky enough to get stopped on a very rare VOSA roadside check.
Without a cat, it'll be more powerful, louder but fail the above tests.
