interior light wiring help?

hey does anyone know how to wire extra lights in so that they come on with the interior light when the doors open?

i really want to fit some led plates on my doors that will light when they open but im not sure how to wire them :S i took out the contact switch to have a look at it but there is only one wire and it seems to be grounded to the car

can anyone help please?

If you want your leds to come on when your doors are open it might be a little trickier to find a power source. You can either run a wire from your interior light in the roof straight to your leds or you can utilize one of the door switches. However this may be a little more difficult as the switch may be wired in different ways. If you know what your doing then use a voltmeter to find out how your door switch works. If not then just use your interior roof light, its easier
