Congrats. Bought one with my xbox on release date... 1 day after warranty ran out it stopped working..

Left it on a shelf for 6 months and it worked again..

Could have got you one for 41 quid from my work =]

I always stick with an ethernet cable if i can - wireless is so tempremental.

Im in birmingham on a course all week and am stuck in a hotel where the wireless cuts out every 2 mins and runs like a dog. Just wish i could run a direct cable into the router atm =]

yeah i cant say wireless is reliable but then again when using ethranet cables the signal weakens when the cables quite long

I'll take your word for it then. My Netgear wireless card changes speed like the wind.

goes 54,24,11,5.5,24 etc its annoying

what what?

dont talk daft lad - theres upto 2 miles pf cable outside your house to the exchange - then lots more cable, an extra 3 foot of cable inside your house aint gonna make naf all difference

Wireless is only troublesome if its not set up correctly or you have cheap hardware.

Depending on your wireless speed it can. Ethernet can run up to 100mbps, most wireless cards and routers can get upto 54mbps.

It wont make a whole heap of difference since the incoming connection is no where near those speeds, but pages load faster over ethernet than they do over wireless.
