I know firstly, this isn't a meet up, but I figured this would be the best place for a local post. I'm after garages or forum members who are able to lower the torsion bar, I've searched around my local area, either they don't know what they're doing unless it's a tractor, or they're charging an arm and a leg.
Any members here want to do it, I'll buy you a pint or something.... Obviously I'll pay you, but if you can do it, PM me your prices etc, or if you've got it done at a local garage, their location/contact number/address would be much appreciated.

That'd be ace, do you have a rough price of what it'd cost for the lowering, and spring fitting?

I had my torsion bar done at Colin Bix's in King's Lynn... he quoted about £75 + VAT for the rear, but it came up to about £120ish as it took a LOT longer than expected to get it all apart (the beam was 75k miles old at the time)...
Give him a ring - he'll either say yes and do a grand job, or say "no, im never going near a torsion beam again!" :p
i could do the front suspension for you.... pm me

i was quoted £100 on a 93 rear beam as the torsion could be rusted in (2 days ago found out there were well in there as i spent a good hour and a half smashing it with a hammer) and when i phone him up again just to see how much he wanted not its free he said no more than £50
