I have recently purchased a 2 channel(bridgible) amp and a 2 subs. They came with all wiring but i don't have a clue what wires are what. I allready have a amp wiring kit set up in my car so i am looking to connect the subs with the amp using the following leads. In the back of the sub box there seems to be 2 terminals for each sub (one positve one negative).
Well as you can see their are 5 wires which should be capable of doing this but i do not know how. These are what the wires look like: -
1 - half black half bronze coliur wire, which both ends split into two at the end. On the bronze side of the wire one part seems to be red and one part clear.
2 - Brown wire with little red connector at one end and cable just ends at other end (brown end)
3 - Black wire which splits into two wires at both ends.
4 - Red wire in the middle with bronzeish wires connected at either end. One end of the wire had a connector and other end just has copper(i think) cable coming out the end.
5 - purple wire which seems to be one which would go in back of subs, plugged into another wire(black) which has a 20 amp high quality noise suppressor, isolation transformer in it, with again 2 plugs (one positve one negative at the end of this. Also on purple cable their is a little wire which comes of the cable with a little connector on it.
I know i have been vague but just don't have a clue and help would be welcommed or if i have done your head in just tell me where to go:p

Right mate wire 1 is the sub wire, goes from the amp where it says bridged, one bit in + one in -, the other end in the sub
Wire 2 looks like the main power, goes straight from the battery, (the end with the small plastic fuse box goes on the battery, to the (12v bat) bit on the amp
Then the other wires just look like plain wires, one you would use for earth, goes from ground on the amp to a good earth, mine was on the bolt that secures the rear seatbelts.
And the last would be the remote, plugs into REM on the amp and into the back of the head unit. Let me know if you dont understand anything, wrote it in a bit of a rush!

hmm u sure? on mine you unscrewed two caps, put the wires underneath and screwed them back on. post up a pic if you can.
Looking at those wires if im honest your best getting an amp wiring kit from halfords or something, their about 20 odd quid but then you know the wires are decent, and they look a bit shite in ur pics, the main power one doesnt look long enough either. Each wires easy to define aswell so you know exactly what goes where, there might even be a diagram with it cant remember though.

all them wires r a rite bodge.throw em in bin...but keep tht black cylinder thing with the RCA connections on the end, thts ur supressor..it cuts out engine interfearance noise cumin thru ur cables.u mite not neccesarly need it but its worth keepin and connectin up.it goes inbetween ur phono/RCA cables then into ur amp.and the wiring kit tht u say is already in ur car ..wot power handling wire is it?? 8gauge ,4 gauge????
