well sold my fox racing alloys and sprayed and fitted a new wing this is how you may remember it...

Well done one side....other still silver should confuse few people......

the patch of thumb missing is worth it then lol
got to wait few days for some skin to grow back then will do the other side!

no thats my xsi with the 16v ;>

this is a 1.4 8v (75bhp) job.....thinking about putting the xsi engine in not sure if the effort will be worth it thinking about selling in few months.....

not sure if i should remove the side strip or not now as matchs the wheels....all comments welcome ;)

Leave the side strips! They look cool with the alloys. Red/Black theme. I'm going for a simple silver and black. :)

yeah think i will be now.....not sure how much gonna get done by fcs....still only got 2 wheels done cos of the shitty weather....engine change looks imminent too!!! maybe few other tricks still up my sleeve

them wheels r exactly how im doin mine..dnt think they suit tht coulor car tho IMO. look nice as foook on this tho...

yeah ive seen that....all the people who have seen in the flesh prefer it the polished rims are hard to get pic off.....

might put on the white xsi as think contrast will be good (and not sure if want the mi wheels anymore due to the spacers and affects the handling!)

you polishing or jus painting yours???

takes about 2 days for two wheels...day removing paint and polishing lip then day to spray and remove over spray (if its sunny...)

did u polish the lip by hand??? and did u mask the wheels up to avoid overspray?

yeah pretty much....used a wire drill bit (wrong type really) to remove most of the paint then sandpaper then emery cloth and wire wool....also some metal polish gets boring and not enough skin on thumb..still needs little bit more....

naaaa didn't mask them up methelated spirits gets it off easy enough! prob cos polished beforehand....
