:confused:well got my BMC filter last night, bargin, but only has fittment for Punto GT.
anyone got any pics of these filters fitted to a 8v(16v even) i want to see what kind of connections they used to fit it.
the filter itself does sit nicely between the bat and coilpack, just need to figure out the pipeing to get it there:confused:

If you mean the CDA, I'm pretty sure there's a pic of it on an 8v in Aidy's blog.

Mines the 2 litre version so has 85mm openings
I used a downsizer to 70mm from BMC (which is what the 1.6 ones have as standard openings)
From there I bought a 90 degree silicon bend from forge motorsport that starts as 70mm and ends as 63mm (right size for throttle body)
When this was fitted to my 8v I used a silicon extender to reach the throttle body like so...

Cheers fuzz, thats perfect!!
Did u attatch the bracket to you battery tray???? think i might attatch mine to the coilpack, as i took off a bracket so the filter would fit.

Is that suitable for the throttle body end? Wont it just collapse when it sucks??
