106 Owners Club Official Competition + prizes

Well guys as FCS'07 is getting closer we would like our members to design our flyer's to be handed out at FCS and at local/regional meets/events etc

there are only two restrictions

Banner: has to have the official club banner as seen above^^^

and Size :210mm x 99mm

thats it .

There will be Official club merchandise as prizes for the best 3 banners plus seeing your banner distributed at FCS!


All entrys must be in by the 10th of JUNE

I will post up some decent quality Logo's for you all to use when I get home tonight :)

I'd like to see some key selling points on the flyer

Such as

- Free friendly forum
- Free to use gallery
- Discounts with major companies
- Monthly regional meetings

Or other such stuff - but its TOTALLY up to you guys, go nuts :)

Can I just check that size is correct? I just done one that size and it seems really tall and skinny rather than normal paper shape? :confused:

yes mate as far as im aware that is the correct size , should fit nicely in your back pocket knda thing

Yeah it should be the right size to get 3 on an A4 sheet - will help cut down on printing costs and Im hoping people will put them in their back pocket, whereas A5 flyers always seem to end up on the floor!

Im going to leave this competition open till end of june - at which point we'll declare a winner, sort out some free t-shirts and stuff for the top 3, and get the winning one printed in time for FCS

Where our lovely promo girl will be sticking them on every 106 in sight :)

Not too bad mate, although a couple of minor points:

a) Speech bubble looks out of place.
b) Not really any need to have the website address twice.
c) The captions are a bit small.

Like the pattern around the '106owners.co.uk' text though.

a5's do tend to get dropped. i think rallyejames skinny one would be perfect, i know id keep it in my back pocket. or fold for front pocket. either size we could leave under wipers on any 106's we see and give to at the stand. any will be fine and will do the job

Right then this has been a bit of a huge cock up

We've had some quotes from other printing companies and I really do want to get 1/3rd of A4 - so the original size still stands

I'm going to extend this till 29th June, as the 2nd of July I need to get this to the printers

We are now getting sponsored by one of our discounters who is advertising on the back side of the flyer so 5,000 of these will be getting handed out by 3 promo girls at FCS, so try and create something professional looking :)
