Quick and simple one here, a friend sent me a saxo cluster to stick in my 106 but as I have a phase 1 106 it wont fit so Im ebaying it.

Now looking in my haynes manual it seems some phase 2 106's have 3/4 connectors at the top as opposed to the 2 + speedo connectors on the back of this saxo cluster.

I've seen the back of a 106 GTI cluster and know it has the same connectors and will work on that model but I've got a chap who has a 98 quiksilver and is asking if it will fit his model as well?
Obviously I dont want to sell him something that doesnt work but this cluster will appeal to a lot of 106 users because of the white dials.

Does anyone know if it will fit his 106? And if any other 106's have the same connectors to the phase 2 GTI's? I have pictures/links if anyone is interested or can help.

Thanks.

PS have another cluster related question to mine which I will post later, need to show a picture so I can explain properly!

Sorry m8 I sold it, was gonna skip it but someone come in with a bid and took it off my hands.

Would love to know the answer still, although im guessing the only way is to have a look.

I have pictured instructions on how to do it as I bought some blue leds for my cluster so I can easily show someone how to get at theirs (although I take no responsibility for people following the instructions as I had my car in the garage to fix my indicator stub I got them to do it for me whilst they were fixing that :P)

Cheers for the info, knew that some 106's plugs would fit, always wanted a quick easy way of fitting white dials without having to take my cluster to pieces :S
