View Full Version : Wanted parts for 106 gti 1999

I need the standard airbox and the pipes to plum it infor a 1999 106 gti (ithink they are the same aross all years anyway). Does someone have these spare after changing these on there own car for an aftermarket air filter either the whole thing or some of it please let me know my email is

Hi i have an induction kit (k&n) but if it sends my insurance through the roof so it has to go. :-[

Seriously, why the hell would you tell your insurance about it?!

If you have a crash then you just remove it. :-\

When you have a crash the police / firebrigade check the car and would not allow you to stand there and remove it they actively look for modifications

well they do here in norfolk unfortunatley (at least they have done the last two times i have been in that situation) not that they were my prangs :P

an induction kit sends your insurance through the rood?!?! mate you need a new insurance company lol

lol i int told my insurance company about nethin ive done to my car :S n ive got an induction kit, but yeah if i ddid have a crash id just remove it, keep ur old airbox in the boot of your car?
