French Car show - Anyone going who wants to cruise down as a region??

Right Guys I have just been looking at the National events and wondered if people want to cruise down to the french car show together?

Its on the 22nd June 2008 nr nottingham - see the national events forum for full details

So anyone interested??

(I will also be organising a cruise down to the ultimate street car santapod the first weekend in August and club car parking if we have 10 cars or more I will be doing this nearer the time but just so you are all aware):D

After todays disapointment I thought it was best to get on this case!!!

We will arrange designated meeting points depending on where people are coming from so lets not let this be a disapointment to (I know not everyones fault the crap weather again!!!)

Are you going to be on the club stand?? I'll be setting of really quite early from Ely, Cambs. This is the quickest root to the a14 which will take us straight to Rockingham. If your coming from norwich though i guess you may well be taking a different root.

No I expect I will be coming that way cause thats the way I go to Santapod im not sure where it is as yet havent looked

Im not sure about going on the stand my car not really that good!!! Its going rusty on the bonnet and its only a V reg!!

I love mine just got a few bad points like the rust on the bonnet and a few scrathes ( deep ones from kids on bikes Why cant they learn to stay on them!!) So not sure about the stand never been before so dont really know what cars usually go on the stand!

Its not so much a stand but from what i know the club has an allocated plot within Rockinghams grounds and i will be parking my car in with all the other 106owners. The club staff are organising the layout of all the 106's so thats all i know. I went to fcs last year and was gutted that i hadn't bought my car so this time its going for definate!!

im going in a mates car and have already arranged to meet some at bar hill as it look like its going be the best place to meet up (i will not be taking the A14 all the way as it takes us to bury st edmunds and then across to newmarket which is to far out the way so will be back roading it across cambridge and then a14 from there)

this is where i have already choosen to meet some1 so if any else wants to meet up there would be good as i dont know any1 so would also be good to meet some of you 1st

If your going through Cambridge You wanna get onto the A14 at the Milton roundabout (its got a Tescos on it) fourth exit takes you straight onto The A14 and its piss easy after that.

when you order a fcs ticket - apply for a club/stand pass and you will get to line up with all the other club members.

I think we should have some designated meeting points for this so how does this sound??

I think as we are all scattered around have 3 first meeting points.
1. Norwich
2. Great Yarouth
3. Ipswich/stowmarket.

I then think we should have a meeting point at Bury St Edmunds Tescos before the A14
then along to Newmarket to meet anyone coming along A11 (poss Norwich people) Then have a final meeting Point at Bar Hill as some have already planned to meet here.
How does this sound???
If this is ok I need someone for each meeting point to organise their point and ensure knowbody gets left behind

I will be a Bury St Edmunds as this will be easier for me Im coming from Bungay with hopefully a few more cars so If anyone Diss way etc wants to meet somewhere let me know

Oh Sorry I forgot the Bedford people!! SORRY!!! We will create a final meeting point near Kettering before we turn off Probably around Junction 9 0r 10 of A14 How does this sound??? Or maybe if we are taking the A6116 it will have to be junction 13 depends what way people wanna go

I would be happy to go to Rockingham in a mini convoy, but like Marshall i want to get there quite early to avoid the mad queues!!
