Ok, so i order myself a set of Infinity Kappa 65.7cs (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/infinity-kappa-657cs-p-4321.html) along with the Autoleads 17cm adapters (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170111462435) for my corsa b, im looking to amplify these components.

Question is, which amplifier would suit these components best, I've currently got a bid on a Phoenix Gold QX2150 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290114640468&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT&ih=019), the guy states that the rms output at 2ohms is 90 watts, the Infinity Kappa's are rated at 97rms @ 2ohms.

If that is correct im asuming the amplifier is a decent choice?

Would like to know your opinions on this, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I know it's for a corsa, but i'm looking to invest in a 106 quicksilver in the near future, these will be the speakers ill be using.

Cheers, Dak`;)

you'll run your front comps at 4 ohm not 2 thats the usual case anyway.

the mp will give you lot more juice than the headunit would, but you should check out the audison amps in the special this month.

Thanks for the reply mate, so i'm going to need a decent AMP that will run my components at 90+ rms @ 4 ohms?
