Hello good people, I require some help please :o

I have a set of GTi clocks that I'm trying to take apart in order to replace the LEDs. I have undone the torx screw in pic 1 and unclipped all the clips in the other pics, but it keeps springing back shut again  Am I being really stupid or is this the only way to pull them apart. Feels like its going to break!

Judging by your trousers you did this after work right? lol

Yeah, work trousers :p Pinstripe rocks :D

I want to replace the LEDs behind the faces (so the clocks light up red) and was also considering taking the white faces out and putting them in my Rallye dials (so I have the right mileage)

the bulbs just twist out bud you can see them all dotted about on the back

how much difference is there in the milage?

Yeah, I realised afterwards that the bulbs were on the back, you didn't need to undo it, but by that time I'd already got the thing apart :p

There's only about 1500 miles difference, but I thought I may as well change them over now it's apart any way

...and I want to paint the needles too ;)
