Can I use 206 s16 gearbox and injectors for my 106 rallye 1.6 8v?
If yes, how can I make injectors improve engines performance? and will I get the engine more potent with s16's gearbox?
Thnx

If they are larger injectors, they will add more fuel. depends how much bigger though. Without opening a can of worms here, if you add more fuel it is advised you have the ecu adjusted for the extra fuel. If there is not a hugh amount of difference between the injector size, you can get away without fueling adjustment. Wether this would amount to any extra power on its own is doubtful.

:rolleyes::)

a s16 box wont fit a tu block mate and the ratios will be far to long. the injectors you have are big enough unless you go boosted eg turbo or supercharger!! if you want to up your fueling a bit just fit a saxo vtr or a quicksilver fuel pressure regulator as they are 3.5 bar pressure rated were as the rallye is 2.5 bar, i would only do this is i had fitted a bigger cam and uprate the breathing systems then get the ecu remapped to suit.

The breating is already done with 4-2-1 Supersprint and BMC F1 filter. The cam is an option when the finances allow... Remapping also.
By the way, what do you think about close gear ratio? 13/62? Anyone done it? I've heard that it dramatically improves acceleration (but reduces top speed)?

hi m8, since you bmc airfilter & 4-2-1exhaust, remap your ecu that makes quite a difference. i'am exactly at that stage with mine at the moment, awesome... about the gearbox recomend to swap it with the one of a 1.3rallye wich fit's and is much shorter, so that will give you the accelaration you want, top speed you loose about 6miles.. good luck searching 4 gearbox...

Thanks! Your rallye is great, have you done all the work yourself or at the Lioliosracing maybe? They are awesome...

the 1.3 rallye box is very rare!!! the next shorter ratio box is the 1.4 xsi box which are a bit more common!

Found a 1.3 (13/59) gearbox, but it exceeds my budget right now... :(
