Because the left hand of it is San Andreas. Look at the difference in quality between the official Rockstar one (San Andreas) and the rest of the map.

i thought that shops couldnt release the game early, if they do rockstar will not support them anymore, meaning they wont be able to sell their games. Its to stop independant game shops from selling them early. Thats what the bloke at game told me lol

Found that HMV are selling the deluxe pack with a rockstar drop box, keychain, lock, duffel bag, book and soundtrack CD for £59.99

Tried to order it online and the site wouldnt work - so had to place a phone order

Hope its gone through - was well dodgy, havent had a confirmation email and no money has gone out my bank but fingers crossed tuesday morning it should turn up at work!!!!

The latest figures show that sony just put everyone with a PS3 down as watching bluray movies - even though like 80% of them dont

Everyones saying that the industry will just drift over hddvd and bluray and go straight to high def streaming downloads

Like the bbc iplayer, and the xbox 360 already has high def film downloads built in ;)

Means I get high def movies without even walking to the shop

Also it will stream films directly from my PC - so if you're naughty and download movies you can stream them straight onto your high def tv! ;)

Do have to agree though. Xbox is much better in every way. Only gripe i have with it is the power supply is quite loud. But that gets blocked out when its hooked up to the surround sound! lol.

GTA devs have already said that the lack of space on DVDs is letting the 360 down, Bluray isn't just for movies...it holds a lot more content.

i heard that as well..
also when you get wasted (i think) or go to hospital, you get a bill and keep your weapons, if you get busted, you get an even bigger fine and lose your weapons.

I'll be getting it tomorrow (special edition) for my 360, i don't own a Ps3 so i don't have a choice, plus i wouldn't buy a ps3 till the price is realistic for what its worth

and on the Ps3 potential The creator of Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima has recently Slated (well he said he wasn't slating it but it so blatanly is a slate) the ps3. in an interview for edge, he's complained sony over inflated the potential of the ps3 to him and subsequently MGS4 is a 10th of what he planned based on there stated potential. he said it simply wasn't good enough to do what he wanted it to do.(i'll quote it properly when i get home and can read the mag)

now that to me is a very bad bit of press for sony, considering their only current 3rd party exclusive's creator is saying the games basically not as good as it should be due to the ps3's limitations. ooops sony now have another bullet in there feet

nope I'm not jealous at all, i could quite easily go buy one now, my only problem would be there are no decent games that are only for the PS3 on it to warrant me to buy it, plus it is very over priced, considering that it probably costs Sony about £100 to make a single console or less, the arrogance of Sony is mental, the European CEO responded to press questioning of the price at e3 (i think) with "work harder" in relation to people affording it, I'm sorry but that alone has prevented me from buying t before a 360.

and if were on console failure rates the psp was and still is appalling i'm on number 5 now, all replace by Sony due to drive or firmware problems, now this one has survived out of warranty I've put custom firmware on it and it runs better!

Simple fact is Sony bumped up the price to showcase there bleuray format, unfortunately Streaming HD is likely to bury it, then the PS3 will be over priced with defunct hardware.

Ive got 2 Xbox's one premium from release date (dec 05 i think) and one elite (mid 07)from release date.

Ive had no problems with either. The only thing ive had problems with it the Wireless card.

the psp firmware didn't just fail, it's only because people fucked around with it.

psp has HUGE potential for the illegal downloader/homebrewer, the games market for the psp is basically dead because of people ripping it apart. partly why i love it.

ps3 sure is a rip off, i accept that, but i'm a victim to the hype, i'll admit that, i mean i've paid £340 for my ps3 with gta 4, and it won't even play ps2 games, sony are money grabbing idiots.
now doubt they'll come out with ten million versions of it as well, which will also keep the price up, with new chassis designs, new colours, slimmer etc.. just like nintendo do, i'm extremely glad Microsoft haven't done the same with the xbox, just have 3 main versions which is great.

blu-ray won't take off properly until the price of 1080p tv's drops to around £500 imo, most people will wait until then, dvd's took a while to kick, i know some people who still use VHS ffs!

spot on there mate, they rip us off, and provide Shiite games, hence why i've forced myself not to buy one (yes forced for all my complaining there have been occasions when i picked up the box and got almost all the way to the till before my brain screamed no)

as for the psp mine only really runs snes,genesis and Psone games cos the proper ones are a bit shit really
and as for normal firmware, my 2nd or 3rd psp when upgrading to 3.51 firmware it froze and went off, it was bricked, not once did i mess with firmware its only now with my 5th that i do and thats cos my warranty finally ran out so I'd have to pay for repairs so might as well just buy a new one if it breaks now

i bought a ps3 just to see what it was like and honestly i couldnt see what the fuss was about,

the blu ray on them is very basic, and i would far rather have all the capabilities of an xbox 360 and pay another couple hundred for a decent blu ray player which can do everything its supposed to be able to

although the map is smaller the map is made up of nearly 100% city

where as in San Andreas a LOT of the map was country side with only a few trees, and even more water in between islands, it was large but 60% was empty

basically map is smaller but much more Full of life
