Went into the back of a ford fiesta earlier because he flipping didnt indicate and sed to the po po tht he didnt look in his rear view mirror!
With wet roads i had no chance of missing him!
His car only came off with a cracked rear bumper the lucky fucker!
I on the other hand has a broken rad leaking from like 3 diffrent places, obvious;y a buggered bonnet and slam panel, also the lights are scrap as they have snapped at the brackets!
Somehow though the front bumper isnt really badly broken, it has a crack in it but nothing serious!
Im claiming on his insurance big time, gunna get pug to do all the work!
new bonnet, rad, front bumper, slam panel and buying new projector lights!

Im not pised off as such its more disappointment that someone could do that to me and my car that i have spent money, hours, blood and sweat!
Anyways here u go!

oh dear mate.... it could have been worse... in my experience its the person who drives into the back of the car that usually has to lose their no claims... like the bloke who slammed his brakes on in front of me

well get some pics up when its sorted, hope everything goes alright ;)

Sorry to hear that mate. thats shit :( But i have to agree -

When people rush about and don;t indicate, even though you are in the middle of the round about, this happens -

Its always the person behind who's at fault. At the end of the day, you should leave enough of a gap to be able to stop in time, even more of a gap if its wet. You went into the back of hime because you didn't have time to stop because you were following too closely, and, there's nothing you can say in your defence to argue with that. Tis the way of the world mate!!!!

Sorry to hear buddy. I get so angry with people who dont indicate. There's been loads of times where im sitting at a junction and wait for a car to go past and they will indicate at the last minute or not even bother all together.

buy it back and fix it for £1100 and you still have £1900 to spend on new parts!

wierd it looks like someone sat on your bonnet rather that crashed into it? strange that its just looks like its the bonnet not the bumper at all?????

thats wot happened to my 106 when i went into the back of a stupid old lady in a polo, who did an emergency stop for a rabbit. my bumper was fine, but my bonnet was screwed as were the headlight brackets, its coz the car dips so much i think. and her car was fuckin fine, it took the piss!

Excuse me Mr. no it all!

I wasn't following him and i wasnt speeding!
He pulled into my lane without indicating or looking in his rear view mirror, so before saying its my fault read what i put 1st!

Also the police are on my side on this because he even told them he didnt indicate!
It isnt my fault and it isnt always the person who goes in the rear tht to fault!

Cheers everyone!

Suffering abit from whiplash and sore shoulder blades!
Insurance guy is coming out nxt week to see what they will do, im thinking they will write it off and give me the cash.

I would rather they repaired my car tbh because i would be losing all the time and money ive spent on it!

Good that you are able to get insurance money for it. Just a shame because as you say, its your car and your own work thats gone into it. Its hard to put a value on that :(

Eitherway hope something good comes out of it!

Poor you!! You totally have my sympathies! Last year my BF & I were on our way home, and he was for once doing a respectable speed. Went over a small roundabout and this big white van is speeding from the left, straight onto the roundabout and as we were doing about 30, and it was wet we just went into the side of him. The look of shock on his face was classic, he didn't see us and you could see that he was tired (oh said he couldn't smell alcohol or police would have been involved) and thankfully his 1st owrds were "sorry mate, didnt see you at all" - Admitted total liability! Poor sod had to pay out from his works insurance as works van and he was self employed. But thats what you get! It was just the side panel and something else that needed fixed and it was £1200 and thats for a VTS! So I can fully believe the £1100.

My ex also totaled his 1st car from people not indicating - and his pure stupidity to be doing 70 in the rain at night in a fiat (with brakes that were useless!) Thankfully the vectra we hit only had a busted boot! the Fiats bumper was UNDER the front wheels and everything was about 10 cm further back than it should have been!

I wonder how long until I hit something?? I've been in 5 car crashes already 2 of which were right offs, best one was at 90 into a dyke, was a ford orion and god knows how it survived, we had to drive home to mine with the bumper scraping the ground. haha.
