Black GTi :)

Before my GTi i owned this....which was great, running over 200 bhp, it was quick. Just abit boring, i tend to change my cars very quickly.

I have alwys like GTi's and rallyes. So it was a toss up between the two, i didn't want to downgrade to much comfort wise so i opted for a GTi. I had it for a whole of 4 days, and wrote it off.

Then i bought this for £600 with a blown headgasket and used my interior and engine. The car its self is in amazing condition. No dents i was so happy when i found it for that price.

I have alot of plans for it, already bought a raceland 4-2-1 ,Next is suspension. Going to resist the temptation of fitting it as i get it, and spend a whole weekend and fit it all at once.

I had them polished for £12. I had the cam covers spare.

New wheels, or at least two of.

Should have my exhaust on, and lowered tomorrow. If everything is going to plan maybe the manifold too.

Finished lowering the torsion bar today. Which might i had was harder than putting the engine in! Also fitted the exhaust in the week. Ordering some new 45 profile tyres, and picking up some front dampers and springs this week so thats next weeks job.

After losing all my gearbox all due to pulling the driveshaft out, and spliting my driveshaft gator :) it's finally lowered at front. I thought it may have gone down abit more, think the eibach springs are 50mm, but i'm happy. Pics:

Just got back from a 260 mile round trip to pick these bad boys up. Only cost me £45 of ebay...and there almost in mint condition!

However this has happen, i have known for a few weeks my drive shaft was on it's way out. About 60 miles away from homw it started pulling hard to the right hand side, and then started knocking. Already have a new one

My car is up for sale, but doesn't seem to be any interest. So looks like i'm going to keep it as well as my new car, and use it as a track car or just abit of fun.
