Right as some of you know the 1st street wars took place on the sunday just gone. I attended had a good laugh and it was a really good day, also it's a great way to meet new people.
About Street wars
Sunday Street Wars allows enthusiasts to race their street-legal cars and motorcycles among their peers in a safe environment, free of oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Sunday Street Wars is only for street legal cars and motorcycles with treaded tyres and full exhaust system. If you are not into time slips, Sunday Street Wars presents a trophy for the best show car and the best show bike of the day.
As well as the chance to see how fast you can do a 1/8 mile there will be trade stands and catering stands serving hot and cold food. At Sunday Street Wars there will be show and shine area, and a trophies will be presented for the best show car and bike
The next street wars will be held on the 11th May but im not going to be able to make this one so i would like to hold a club stand on 8th June. The entrance is concrete and tarmac so and we all park on tarmac so no one will have difficulty with their cars. I think it would be a good way to promote the club. We will have our stand, it will be £5 a car. Our psw banner will be put up and leaflets can be made so we can hand them out to any pug owner. Im not saying you have a huge amount of pugs at this particular event but it will definalty be well worth it.
