hi mate looks like you got a bargain, looks in pretty good shape aswell, i drove a 1.0 version before i bort mine, for a 1.0 litre though it was quite quick apart from the 4 speed gearbox though which got on my nerves as i kept wanting to change to 5th but thats cus im used to driving 5 speed lol, look forward to seeing more progress on this car.

nice car get sum xsi arches they will make it look better again i did it on my mardi gras but u have to grind out the rear arches

Nice. I think you should get the XSi arches also! would look don. Get some meguires polish also. It would shine like a bitch if you polish it with really nice stuff.

Meh, i need to get the lacquer on the bonnet and roof done first... although it would probably be cheaper to get a matching bonnet from the breakers...

Does anyone know how to remove the manufactures mardi gras decal on the side? My aztec has great big ones running down on each side but they look like they have been properly ingraved in:(
ive tried all the methods mentioned on here but they are mostly for the badges, cheers

Not sure mate, It might be worth making a new thread and hope someone can help you there.

I know its a problem with things like that, becuase you dont want to scratch the paintwork.
Create a new thread and im sure there is someone that can throw thier 2 pennies in.
