Spotted a Rallye

saw a lush rallye today in norwich on my drive home from college, dont know what the blue was but a dark turquoise colours, was a s2, i want a rallye now! and saw a few quikkys too

The S2 only comes in Bianca White and Indigo Blue so it must have been an Indigo - same as Rallyeraz on here. I love spotting Rallyes ;D

the S2 also comes in black mate, only 2 RHD in the country tho ;)

and on the contient they come in other colours.

Half true - Was sold in the UK in blue and white only. There are two imported LHD black S2s in the country and 1 RHD black S2 (an import from Ireland). They were sold in blue, white, red, yellow, black and (i think) silver in the rest of europe.

The S1 was white, red or black everywhere though :)

yeah iv seen a silver rallye from europe, weather or not it was a fake tho ???

wouldnt mind seeing a red one. and cant beat seeing a yellow rallye ;)

I missed one other too - Rumour has it that there is one single silver S1 Rallye, made for the boss of Peugeot's daughter. Now that would be a special car ;D

well prob wasnt a rallye then unless resprayed as it was a metalic dark turquoise colour. looked lush

What differences are there between a rallye and a gti. (not engine) Obviousley badges driving light holes colour coded bumpers then carpet seats wheel dash badge and i am guessing wind up windows etc?

Obviously engine is a 1.6 8v rather than 16v

Also everything else you noted plus:

Mirrors and door handles not colour coded (mine have been sprayed)
Wind up windows
Half door cards (lots of painted metal bits)
No central locking
Power Steering only available as optional extra (not in mine)
Blue dials in the dash

Theres are 2 bianca white Rallyes and 1 indigo blue rallye round mine- will hunt em down for ya Rallye James
