Hey Guys im mat i used to work for Redline magazine and most of you know that i was building a 106 gti dimma ( which is an origional, with special plate to prove ).
I have had so many ups and downs with the car with people hanging on to it for so long saying things will be done and they arnt but now the wheels are finally in motion. The car is currently having the bodywork and paint done, wheels are on order and the audio is in, also my full red leather interior is ready and waiting to be put in just got to put all the bits to the puzzle

no mate its at M.A.R.C i would never take it any where dodgy as you get what you pay for.

Also i aint keeping the 2002 kahn wheels they are just temp at the moment, ive got some BBS LM's 18" with a 4 to 5 stud conversion they are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with a stretched tyre its going to look sick.

i hope so mate theres alot of time and effort gone into this car, its had so much work done, it was in a right state before i got it cracks here and theere / engine knackered.

I dont know what stand im on at FCS i might be with the Fast Car boys but ill defo pop over i want to enter it in the Top 25, you guys should see my interior but you all will when i go to FCS :p

here is a list of things done or being done:

BODY WORK
-Dimma wide arch kit (front + rear bumpers / x4 wide arches
-smoothed doors (no handles or locks)
-Ariel removed
-Standard bonnet with washer jets removed and badge recess welded up.
-smooth boot and spoiler removed
-Rear wiper removed
-standard mirrors with tvr style door popers
-Covered in audi tt aviator grey paint
-Black angel head lights
-Standard rear lights
-black honeycomb mesh in bumpers
-French number plates
All work done by M.A.R.C a very respectable and well known bodyshop.

ENGINE
The first Citroen C2 vts engine in a 106 fully rebuilt with performance parts
-cams
-manifold
-de-cat
-big valve head
-ported + olished
-superchip
-pistons + conrods
-Full bottom end rebuild
-Air filter
-straight through exhaust
The list goes on cant be bothered write it all down lol :D ......................................

WHEELS & TYRES
18 x 8.5 Front / 18x9.5 Rear BBS LM alloy wheels with a hub adapter, converting from 4x108 to 5x100
Tyres are unknown at this point.


SUSPENSION
80mm drop at the front and 120mm drop at the rear using FK Coilovers with adjustable dampers.


I.C.E
Full install done by Plush automotive including simple door builds and boot build using fli audio equipment throughout.

like i said in a previous post it was in a state when i got her, so i did what was needed of me and sorted her out good and proper ha ha ha, this car is going to be reborn and stick in the mind of millions ha ha

also got some M3 Mirrors with indicators for sale £40 delivered

Im glad you all like the progress on this car i was abit worried at first that the vw style wouldn't suit the car.
I cant wait to get it back and on the road

hey guys im glad you like the colour im really happy with it, and as for the seats they are just standard 106 gti 1/2 leather's which will be for sale very soon.
im in a situation at the moment wether or not to trim my roof in dark red leather to match my interior what do people think?

nope its just cam covers on tommys like it is on mine.

apparantly the c2 engine is ment to be better and more flowing?

Well guys the interior cost alot for everything to be trimmed i wouldnt like to say how much lol. other that that i have no plans for the grab handles as they match the colour of my exterior i was going to get them trimmed but decided against it good or bad idea what do people think?
I just cant wait get the wheels on and that will be the finishing touch.

hey guys sorry for not being on here for ages i have been mega busy, the car is 90% finished at present, all i need is a set of rims which will be coming after xmas, but as things progress im now looking to sell this lovely car as i now live in london and dont really need one as i get the tube everywhere. I am in good contact with Fast Car magazine and as soon as the wheels are on they are going to put it on the cover.
As you can see or read in the other comments there has been alot of work gone into this car engine, body, interior etc........
