Hi people just startin on this site. Wizza its martin you know me:)
Heres my car not long after i bought it. But i added the alloys to it.

This is my 106 gti better late than never spose
This is nearly as new apart from the alloys
27K all service history and mots etc.

also get it lowered and re-furb the wheels anthracite, nice base though

These came so got ahead with cleaning and painting them up
306 gti6 Brake setup with carriers and master cylinder £120

Also got some goodridge braided hoses. New brmbo Disc's 283mm and still deciding Mintex or Ferrodo??? Any help guys/girls?

Ye the milage was my main thing as its proved this 106 gti runs extremly faster than others standard as it beats integrals straight line and blows away 205 mi16 on tracks no prob and odd scooby that was when it was standard wiv just the induction kit on:)

I have just come in luck my mate has a 205 deisel and it has all speedline 205 1.9 gti alloys on them!!! Best of all he just wants rid of the car so he said if i get rid of it i can have whatever i want of it yay.

Here are the alloys not too bad shape. all speedline so its all good. Going to clean them up and see how good i am at doing my own refurbing.

Right im giving it ago. I sat on me ass with a selection pack of sandpapers from poundland and got scraping. I them primed them several layers.

I them sprayed them gloss black and decided to give my own touch on the center caps. Tell me what you all think.

Laquered them about 6 times i think and put them back on.

Also got meself some raceland seats and harnesses and subs so dont use handbrake no more as a handle at trackdays lmao

Went to some guy i know used to own blueflame and now has his own business pipewurx and he did me a full decat st/st custom exhaust. Sounds very loud indeed and cut little out bumper for me so nice and snug

I have now also stripped the rear of my car and thinking of a way to keep boot light in there because its very usefull i thinks. Just made a plastic plate for it and goin to rewire switch soon.

Ye i know had to get them tho £300 brand new with full set brand new yokos tyres. But now got me 306gti6 setup and is gold will look ace soon as get pads to go behind the alloys:D

Added me boot light back in with switch as because interior stripped old button was permantly on.

This is how the car looks now think it needs lowering now but cost issues as it will be high performance for tracking £1500 mark im reconing.
What people think?

PS: You couldn't PM me a list of the budget sprays and sandpapers you used for ya wheels could ya, and how long you left em to dry for in between each layer and finally done? :rolleyes::o

Ye for full suspension setup cilovers etc. and some poly bushes maybe the anti rolls too.
Il take pics of the cans i used givs you better idea and list ruf times. give me 2 mins
