New Album - Linkin Park

Ive just got their new album, its very different from their others, but still somewhat likable.
Any fans/opinions?

I don't have the album, but I have heard some of the stuff from it... What I've Done is surely me fave of what I have heard...

It is different to what they have already done, you wouldn't think it's them if someone just played the songs to you...

But yeah i'm a fan!!!

yeah thats probably one of the most normal songs on there really. its still pretty good though

It is worth the cash i spose, but dont expect an album with many guitarish songs on it, most of them are pretty mellow, but there are some great melodies in my opinion.
There are a few songs that some regular UK indie bands like coldplay could have written

Really liked Hybrid Theory and Meteora, didn't really listen to much of the next 2 albums and not even heard their new songs. Will have to check it out i think!

ah yeah youre right, but that was a remix, and the one with jay-z was just an excuise for more cashflow

Yeah i wasn't struck on the remix album and not really into Jay-z either.
Linkin Park were awesome at leeds festival a couple of years ago, Metallica and them on consecutive nights! was awesome!

Hmmmm, I've listened to it three times now (bought it today! :D) and I'm not sure :confused:

I love how it's different, "What I've Done" and "Leave Out All The Rest" stand out, but the whole thing doesn't seem right. It's just not Linkin Park! :(

I'll give it a few more listens, but I'm not convinced yet

well i just got this , played it back to back twice and my verdict is


SHIT HOT! :) Very good album some of the songs are quite chilling i think if you dont play it blasting lol

i got it on the day, and i must say its ment when in my car, love it, but not as good as the old stuff but excellent.

jay z album ruined linkin park, but good to see there trying to get them selves back form that problem lol

when listening loud its brilliant, when i listen low volume it can bring a shiver down my spine and also bring emotions as well :(:)

This album is pretty cool, I think there's a few too many slower songs on there though... I would have thought there would be a more even mix between slower and faster/heavier?
Either way, still a great listen.... and that bass riff on Given Up is just plain addictive!
