I also prefer Dance and Oldschool Trance (new stuff in both categories is rarely good anymore) but some Hardcore is ok. Don't know if you bothered with it but I got the Hardcore Euphoria CD and the first disc is great, other two not so good.

Gotta love the trance classics such as: delerium-silence (tiesto mix) chicane-saltwater, dj sasha-expander etc

Is it me or do you very rarely get people over the age of about 23 that actually listen to hardcore?

When you say hardcore, it makes me think of a nova full of chavs crusin' down southend with it blaring out of the windows!

Or, what seems to be the latest craze - chavs walking down the high street holding their mobiles near their ears with hardcore blasting out of the 1cm speakerphone!!

Nailbomb (project of Nine inch nails & Sepultura members. I've seen them live at Dynamo open air 1995)

Asesino
Sepultura

But also the more modern lighter stuff like gothic influenced bands like Within Temptation, Evenascense
