you could make a shelf and housing for it by the fuse box where the glove compartment is...

like in the old mini's, i think it looks pretty cool

Another Landie inspired one, build a storage box between the seats and mount it there.

'tis where my CB goes as the Radio is in it's usual place!

Just be cool like me and dont have one. When you have a supersprint to listen to you dont need one.;)

tunes are wayyyyyyyyyyyy more important,
wont fit between seats when i have buckets in and having it sideways interferes with handbrake and i need that for obivious reasons.

If you are handy with Fibreglass or know someone who is, why not make up a small centre console so you can have the cd player in the standard location. You can have a few shelves below for putting stuff on?

Being different here, how about up in the roof just in front of where the Mirror is.

thats nearly why i want an extended ribbon but the roof is to shallow unlike a land rover and not really a sutiable location for full unit

What about in the door somewhere m8...if you keepin the bins then why not fibreglass a mould for the headunit in the bin and extend ur wiring through the door into the headunit!?
