Hey, I have this old CD player I found and want to stick in my car but it doesnt have the right connecters?

What do I need.

Its a Sony and has this on the front R-D-S EON CDX - 4100RDS
On the back M4X6MAX

EDIT: Found this and it isnt English, but there are some images if that helps? http://www.css.ap.sony.com/consumer/template/IMDetails.aspx?Id=11157&category=Car Audio&model=CDX-4100

EDIT: Would this one work by any chance? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XTREME-AUDIO-REPLACEMENT-SONY-16-PIN-ISO-WIRING-HARNESS_W0QQitemZ120074812321QQihZ002QQcategoryZ14 932QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Is the CD Player new? If so, then I'm gona guess that the loom with it is fine and you have an older car/one with hacked wires, that doesn't match. If its old you can get adaptor looms for your car. if its hacked up then you need to connect the wires together individually to the CD player. Can you get some pics?

You're gonna need to be a LOT more specific mate

On the back of the head unit will be a plug hole with 16-40 pins in it

There is meant to be a loom adaptor - as shown in your first ebay listing - which plugs into this and gives you 2 female plugs with about 16 pins in each

Your pug wiring should plug into these

If you have the wiring loom but the connectors on your pug dont plug in then someones bodged your wiring around
If you have the loom missing then buy the one on ebay and plug it in and you're away

The white bit on this plugs into the headunit - the other end onto the car loom
If this is the bit you need (in this photo) then yeah that 16pin sony iso adaptor on ebay will do the job

But if those are your photos? Surely you already have that cable?

I'm well confused

Thats for my old CD player and doesnt fit in to the Sony one. That above is for a clairon. And yes they are my photos.

So the ones of Ebay should work.

Is this image better? The plug below, does not fit in to my Sony CD player.

Ahhh gotchya

Yeah you just need a sony to iso connector

But I'd ring/email them because they say 16pin and yours appears to have 18
If you email them with the headunit model number I'm sure they'll sort you out
