Whsts the best ride height for handing and show? I was reading some where for Saxos it was:
30mm - 40mm - Handling
50mm - 60mm - Show Car
50mm For little bit of both?
It was something like that? But not sure?
What would it be for 106s?

If its for a 1.1 (as I presume it is from your sig) then you have difficulties lowering it because of the rear arch. On higher models its curved but on the 1.1s its flat, therefore theres more chance of the arch rubbing on the tyre. It can be done, but the arch might need to be bent out a bit. Not sure exactly about heights for the 1.1s so I'll let others guide you on that point.

Surely it would be the same as they're both the same car.

If you want handling then 30-35mm is the lowest I would recommend
After that you're really comprimising the handling of the car
Show car wise - well whatever
My old car looked the nuts and it was down about 80mm LOL

my 1.1 is 45mm on the front and its not even low it looks shit! U need 60mm. Also on the rear 50mm isn't a problem even with the flat arch as long as you have the correct offset on the wheels. (18mm) Again mine doesnt rub.

I was thinking about both 106's 1.1 and QS? :)
Also the torison bar? If you lower it by one notch is that 20mm? or 30mm?

coz its shit and it means in time your rear beam will **** up. due to the bearings being exposed.
best to do it the mm way, and take them competly out.

35mm is the best, mine was 35mm all round and i had 18`s on at one point and it looked wicked, but then i went back to 15`s, but an engine change has made it now 50mm. My rear beam has been fine but they did the lowering the correct way, the original beam was on for 4 years with no problems and the gti one that got fitted was done with no problems. I believe though that the cars which have no problems are the ones with no rear seats so there is not a lot of weight in the back, as mine has been stripped since i got it and it is fine. The ones that get hammered or have full passengers generally wear quicker due to them being put through more strain, i may have made that bit up but it sounds good.

About that low....! meant to be 35mm drop springs with t/bar adjusted to match but think they gave me 50's or even 60's

That looks perfect. Not on stilts and not decked so the wheels sit up into the arches
