Ive had my XSi for just under a year now and normally just washed it with cheap shampoo :p....so decided it was time to give it a proper clean.
Surprise surprise, i went to halfords for their 3 for 2 offer.
I bought
Autoglym Bodywork shampoo
Megs Clay bar kit (the £23 one with 2 clay bars)
Megs NXT Tech wax
Autoglym Super resin polish.
Took me 4 hours to do the car but was well worth it. Still cant believe how smooth the painwork is and its so so shiny! :D
Only thing i didnt do was the bottom of the car both sides as theres a lot of tar marks, so goin to buy some intense tar remover next week, then polish and wax. Anyway, heres some pics :D

i had white on my old grey XSi and now white on my miami one...im gettin sick of cleaning them and just looking at the in general! i want different wheels too (some 15" chronos) but cant afford them just yet, so powdercoated it is!

Looks really tidy. I was thiking of putting white wheels on mine but, IMO, i don't think there is enough contrast between the two colors for them to really stand out.

I think i'll stick with standard XSi alloys or 405 MI16 alloys :)

i like standard XSi wheels, but mines didnt have any when i bought it :(

i think they look great lowered on standard rims

Aye 8)

I just think that because of the age of some of the XSi's, the blue is washed out and not deep enough to carry off the contrast between the two colours. Not say, for instance, like a China Blue 106 GTi. That blue would be nice and deep to show the contrast between the wheels and the car colour :D

I thought about having some white alloys for mine but decided against it. My alloys need sandblasting and powder coating because they're not in the best of condition and also, 'cos they're 14's, its difficult to get decent tyres for them, so this *should* prompt me to get 405 M116 alloys! :P If not, i'l go with refurbing mine :D

I had anthracite multispokes on my old xsi years ago, looked brilliant against the blue
