Just doing some research into making my brakes a bit better..my car has the Bendix front callipers, I don't know if I should replace these or just buy better pads/discs for them. This whole cars about improvements on a budget at the moment.
The reason for my hesitation is, the Peugeot 205 1.6 GTi shares the same callipers, I remember last summer test-fitting a dimpled/slotted disc from a pair a mate had purchased for his 205. That car had some good stopping power. Much more so than i currently have, after he changed the discs/pads for fast-road ones. So worth changing the system, or just upgrading bits for what it has?
Cheers.

every scrap yard has a 306d in take calipers off one of them they would be an ideal upgrade. im sure there 266mm discs as well same as 306 xsi and 206gti
we should soon be offering 266,mm calipers discs and standard pads at a good rate. ready to fit to a 106 strut. ;)

Will the 266mm setup fit under standard steelies? Too cheap to spend out on alloys at the moment when I have a perfectly good set of tyres to burn through.
Every 306d has that setup? Sorted if thats the case, they're everywhere.

They wont under 13's no they were very close when i had 14's on. . . i tryed some 13's with them on and there no way they would fit.
they need a bit of moddifing to fit to strut but only a corner of the caliper, any tool with a grinder can sort it out.
also ur 4 stud yea? cos they wont go on 3 stud.
