Hi i was just wondering if i should change the xs brakes.
i have a friend sell the rallye brakes and i just want to no if it is worth it

ys it is worth it....rallye ones are vented and slightly large i believe than the std xs ones....
check out my xs-xsi conversion thread as will be fitting xsi brakes to mine shortley

do it, get some grooved discs off ebay for 40 quid and some mintex extreme pads and they'll be spot on

Definately mate, they're shite, fade waaay too easily, and just dont stop ya, I've got GTi/VTR/VTS calipers going on for the time being.

the rallye disks are bigger than the xs ones arnt they?

if i just fitted grooved discs off ebay for 40 quid and some mintex extreme pads to the xs with the standard calipers would it work and would it be worth it or do u have to do the calipers aswell

get uprated callipers, the standard callipers on the xs is the same as the 1.1, not nearly enough breaking power for the engine in the car

You'll have to let me know how you find fitting em, and how they work, cause I aint been and ordered any caliper bolts yet, lol.
