Brakes make a scraping noise when i press them

hello Everyone

Everytime i press my brakes i get this scraping noise like sumthing metal to metal just over a month ago i checked the discs and pads they were fine and ever since then its getting worse everytime i pull away it sounds like a propeller going around and thought it could be the calipers and itr only happens on the driver side brakes.

check again and see if the brake pads are in tack and check to see if there is a lip on the disk on the outer edge

mines make a scraping noise when cold, but after 5 mins of driving there fine, pads and shoes are perfect same with disks...i just asumed it was a french thing lol

i will have a look at them again to see the situation of them and will reply back to you i think i will need new pads and discs because if i press them hard it sounds like there digging into the disc they looked fine like 1 month ago but since then its gotten worse could it be anything to do with the caliper.

Definately sounds like you've used all the pad, and have scored the shit out of your discs, new discs and pads if you have.

IM HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!

drivers side, i dont have a clue what it is. im gonna change my pads this weekend n gonna see what happens!

Well had a look a minute ago and heres the picture i think i need new discs and pads lol major list this payday.

What discs and pads will i need i got a 106 1.1 year 98 its a look 2 5 door

i changed my pads last night mate, my noise has stopped!
