I have a bent rear axle which im asuming is the stub pin damaged as the wheel sits in at the bottom a good bit, also have play in my wheel bearing. This was a replacement axle i fitted and have been driving with it like this for 3 months. Doesnt help me out in the corners much!lol. I have an old trailing arm, so was wondering if pressing the stub pin out of this and fitting it too the axle on car would be ok. I have access to a hydraulic press, pressing it out wouldnt damage it in anyway and still allow me to use it? I know hammering it would damage it!ha. Dont wana be swoping arms an altering ride hide or exposing axle bearings etc..
