Would this work to fix my bent axle

I have a bent rear axle which im asuming is the stub pin damaged as the wheel sits in at the bottom a good bit, also have play in my wheel bearing. This was a replacement axle i fitted and have been driving with it like this for 3 months. Doesnt help me out in the corners much!lol. I have an old trailing arm, so was wondering if pressing the stub pin out of this and fitting it too the axle on car would be ok. I have access to a hydraulic press,pressing it out wouldnt damage it in anyway and still allow me to use it? I know hammering it would damage it!ha. Dont wana be swoping arms an altering ride hide or exposing axle bearings etc..

yes it is possible to press the old stub pins out and re use them. I did one tonight for a friend, done a few on disc and drums stub pins!
