Hello guys,
I need some advice regarding my 1.1 106 (1997). My brakes were getting spongy and soft and I had to keep pumping them to work effectively. I took it to the garage and they said the Master Cylinder needed replacing, so I got them to do that.
When I picked the car up, the brakes were not any better, so I took it back. Now they are saying that the front caliper is buggered and that now needs replacing.
I wanted to get a second opinion so took it somewhere else. They said they couldn't identify the problem, but the rear cylinder was slightly weeping.
I've now got 2 different opinions for the same problem. I don't want to spend money fixing one issue in case it is the other.
Has anyone had similar issues with their Pug? If it is the front caliper, how easy is it to change?
Thanks for you help
