Well for the 1st meet I was just thinking of something simple. A car park somewhere or a cruise. Just a chance to get to meet faces and see each others cars. If it all takes off then maybe we can move onto going to Crail and meeting up or at trackdays at Knockhill, not to race but to meet up and watch others race.

I tried a go-kart session on another forum and got great feedback so I organised it. In the end it cost me £90 out of my own pocket and me trying to get 9 mates with a days notice.

But depending on how many cars we get interested in meeting up then I might think about doing that again.

I like the idea of Dundee as most of the active members are near that area than they are the Central Belt.

Anyone got any ideas what car park or pub we could meet at? Few games of pool or something after meeting everyone and taking pictures.

i would be up for a meet in Dundee like as its only up the road from me.... but i am a member of another site and i know how these usually tend to go... u go up, park and stay in your car lol:) well thats how the last one i went to went...People are just to embarrassed to get out there car and talk to strangers even know we talk to each other on this lol.... maybe be different for this one though when it happens....
As i said though i would defo be up for a meet just need dates and times etc...

Bad news though. Shes gone :( I'm missing the car already. Was weird seeing it drive away. I guess the money and time I've spent on it makes ye go like that.

well camperdown is quiet most of the time, so could be a gd pic taking place, also got big car park which is hardly used behind the cinema, not really sure on a quiet pub, there are a few in town tho, also the industriel estate is full of big open wide area's for parking up etc, im sure more people from dundee can have a few more ideas

well it looks like a wee pub but its defo a hotel, their are tonnes of pub around town, so we could go for a drive downtown or summit after campy, unless someone else knows of one, any dates in mind?

Since it'll be the first Scottish 106 meet I've not got anything big planned. Just a general meet to get to know each other, see each others car, talk car mods and then a few drinks and a game of pool ( if possible ) and while all this is going there should be a few pics taken to put up on the site ( I might even make a small YouTube video ) for the other non scottish members to see.

If all goes to plan and we do get a decent turn out, then I might look into organising a day out go-karting, a trackday and general convoys to Crail and what not.

the discovery is down the front, next to olympia swimming, as far as i know her arent any proper big car parks to park, but there is another boat called the unicorn 5 min round the corner from there, next to a lot of other old boats were hardly anyone goes about were we could atleast meet up and get pics or whatever

also for food if we want there is a clarks 24 hour bakery with a bigish carpark not far away either, or if people dont know dundee that well we could meet at the carpark before the tay bridge into dundee

I've not came up with any dates yet, but it will be a Sat or Sun in April. Since you're from Dundee I'm leaving the place to meet upto you. Then I'll get dates and times sorted and also convoys sorted.

well its on a road called riverside drive, can access it as you come off the4 tay bridge, if you dont go tht way then you would come passed dundee airport and u stay on that road all the way and you cant miss it, and if you ype in riverside drive, dundee into google maps itll show you it on there, tesco's is basically band in the middle from the airport and university shown on the map
